CIMC Equilink celebrated its fifth anniversary and the 2023 annual meeting on April 26th in the conference hall sponsored by the Luodian Town community, Baoshan City. The event was simple yet inspiring, bringing together all employees to mark this significant milestone.

Notable attendees included Mr. Lu Zhihong, General Manager of Asia Pacific Region MEDLOG Group, Mr. Zhang Jun, Director of COSCO Shipping Group, Mr. Wang Guoying, Deputy General Manager of ASL, Mr. Xu Yunliang from CPI, Mr. Xu Bin from SAMPON, and other esteemed guests from Shanghai District. Also in attendance were Mr. Shan Qi, Chairman of CIMC Equilink, Mr. Wang Huaisheng, General Manager of CIMC Amaterasu, Mr. Han Ruijia, General Manager of Taicang Reefer Container, Mr. Li Jianjun, General Manager of CIMC Taicang, Mr. Zheng Zhijun, General Manager of Jingmen Hongtur, along with other guests from CIMC subsidiaries in Shanghai and former employees of CIMC Equilink.

General Manager Mr. Piao Xin kicked off the celebration with a speech on the company’s history and future 5-Year Plan. He reviewed the past five years of operations and team development, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. Mr. Piao emphasized the importance of the aftermarket business and outlined the company’s future direction, aiming for accelerated development and significant contributions to CIMC’s sustainable growth.

Equilink employees presented a set of sitcoms depicting the company’s journey from humble beginnings to continuous development, showcasing their vision for the future. The heartfelt performances moved all guests and employees, turning the event into an emotional and motivational experience.

In recognition of their hard work and outstanding contributions, teams and individuals who made significant breakthroughs in important projects over the past six months were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates of honor. Key projects included global centralized procurement of spare parts for shipping companies such as MSC, CMA, and Maersk, development of leading customers in East China, and Southeast Asia, and global accessories for refrigeration units.

Deputy General Manager Hu Chao presented the development plan based on a three-year outlook and five-year requirements, guiding employees on the future path. Department heads and key employee representatives took the stage to pledge their commitment to the company’s goals with confidence and determination.

Chairman Shan Qi concluded the conference by acknowledging Equilink’s progress over the past five years and setting new expectations for the future. He urged the company to continue promoting business innovation with higher standards, addressing shortcomings, and consolidating the "3+X" new business layout to ensure long-term development.

As night fell, the celebration party began with General Manager Piao Xin delivering a speech, expressing gratitude to Mr. Mai, Mr. Huang, the CIMC Group, and all partners and employees for their support and hard work. He encouraged everyone to stay true to their mission, enhance Equilink’s core capabilities, and achieve the company’s strategic goals.

Equilink employees showcased their talents and enthusiasm through various performances, including the opening dance "The Show of the Year," the poetry recitation "Equilink Poetry," a nine-language chorus "New Equilinker," a taekwondo dance "Five Years of Elegance and Martial Arts," and a song medley "Five Years of Movement, Singing Soaring." These performances highlighted the vitality and spirit of Equilink employees, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

This fifth-anniversary celebration not only highlighted Equilink’s achievements and challenges over the past five years but also demonstrated the company’s unity and strength. CIMC Equilink is poised to forge ahead, writing an even more brilliant future chapter.
