Safety Approval Plates Requirements

According to the provisions in the Appendix of the CSC Annex, every approved container must have a safety approval plate. This plate is not something to be taken lightly. It needs to be permanently installed in a highly visible and indestructible position, right next to other official approval plates. This placement is key, as it makes it easy for anyone involved in handling the container to quickly identify and access the important safety - related information.

The safety approval plate must state at least the following information, and this can be in either English or French. This language flexibility helps in facilitating international communication within the shipping industry.
