A refrigerated container (reefer container) is a special container with excellent thermal insulation performance, capable of maintaining a stable low-temperature environment. It is specially used for the transportation and storage of temperature-sensitive goods such as fresh food, frozen products, fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood.

Standard Usage & Operation Requirements

To ensure cargo quality and extend the service life of reefer containers, please follow these professional guidelines:

1. Check cargo condition before loading

Before loading frozen or chilled goods, check the quality and state of the cargo, and mark it clearly on the manifest.

2. Standardize loading and stacking

Strictly follow the cold air circulation design. Do not block the air duct, so as to avoid short-circuit of cold air, uneven cooling and reduced refrigeration efficiency.

3. Strict temperature control

For long-distance transportation, the temperature difference in the container shall be controlled within ±3°C.

When the cooling system is running normally, the temperature data error shall not exceed 0.5°C, and the optimum control is within 0.25°C.

4. Reasonable fresh air ventilation control

For fresh fruits and vegetables: open the fresh air outlet properly for ventilation.

For frozen goods: keep the fresh air outlet closed to maintain stable low temperature.
