Container Lashing Ring – Essential Cargo Fastening Fitting

The lashing ring (also named rope lashing ring) is a key safety component used to fix and secure cargo inside containers. It is widely installed on container top side beams and bottom side beams to provide stable fastening points during transportation.

Installation & Layout

• Standard installation spacing: 550mm (upper and lower rings paired)

• Installed on top side beams & bottom side beams

• Can also be fixed on front/rear corner posts for end cargo securing

• Can be used together with floor nails for extra stability

Safe Use & Operation Guidelines

To ensure transportation safety, lashing rings and container securing must follow standard rules:

1. Deck & hatch cover containers
Arranged longitudinally for better stability.

2. Overhanging protection
Containers shall not exceed the ship side; overhanging parts need extra support.

3. Stacking on hatch covers
Use anti‑sliding brakes or equivalent devices to prevent displacement.

4. Single‑layer container securing

￮ Use corner locking devices at bottom corners

￮ Add diagonal or vertical lashing at both ends

￮ Use positioning cones at bottom corners

5. Double‑layer container securing

￮ Use corner locks for each layer

￮ Add lashing between second layer and deck/hatch cover

￮ Install positioning cones for each layer

￮ Use corner locks if separation force exists
